Oil & Gas Pathfinder (previously Project Pathfinder)
Oil & Gas Pathfinder (previously Project Pathfinder) provides a real-time view of oil and gas projects and the decommissioning programmes on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS). It has recently been expanded to include projects to support the energy transition including CCS
We have listened to the companies and understand that early information about emerging projects is helpful. As a result, Oil & Gas Pathfinder provides a real-time view of the oil and gas projects for new field developments, and decommissioning of programmes on the UKCS, and has recently been expanded to include projects to support the energy transition including CCS.
Oil & Gas Pathfinder information includes the location, type of development, and timings of business opportunities. It supplies contact details within companies and increases visibility of the contracting community. It aims to build on the information available from existing forums such as the annual Share Fair and Forward Workplan.
The industry has been supportive of Oil & Gas Pathfinder, as have influential industry bodies that find it useful for the supply chain to plan ahead and be in a more competitive position to win a share of UKCS contracts.
The project is designed to provide general information only. While every effort is made to ensure that the information provided is accurate, it does not constitute legal or professional advice.

Live Forward Work Plan
The OGA is also working with Achilles to refresh the live Forward Workplan (a database where industry buyers upload info on upcoming tenders). This system complements the OGA's Pathfinder which has info on UKCS projects for new field development and decommissioning.
