The Oil and Gas Authority have recently collaborated with Rockfield to deliver a training course for 40 industry subsurface professionals on the mechanical properties of geo-materials for the UKCS petroleum and carbon storage industries. To complement this training course Rockfield are releasing a free-to-access, UKCS constitutive materials database, and a macro-enabled spreadsheet. This tool allows users to visualise the elastic and plastic relationships of material models in 2D and 3D.
