The OGA’s energy integration project has concluded its first phase, a scoping study undertaken by LR to consider the technical feasibility of oil and gas assets, combined with renewable sources, to enable the transition to a low carbon economy.

The OGA has appointed EY to deliver the next phase of the project, building on the technical review with an integrated economic assessment and identification of regulatory enablers to realise opportunities for a more integrated offshore energy sector.

This project is part of the OGA’s ongoing programme of energy transition work.

The OGA has also published a podcast on The Energy Transition, where our Chief Executive Andy Samuel debates this important issue with leading industry figures.
