On Wednesday 27th June 2018, the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) has organised a Frontier Basins Research Workshop at the Heriot-Watt University Campus in Edinburgh.

This free-to-attend event, in support of the OGA’s 31st Offshore Licensing Round, will showcase the findings from three post-doctoral research projects which were funded by the OGA through the Government Seismic Programmes and are being executed by the University of Aberdeen, Heriot-Watt University and Durham University. These research projects are aimed at gaining new insights into some of the frontier basins of the UKCS, and the event will focus on results and ongoing research from the Rockall Trough, Mid North Sea High and South-West Approaches. Data from the East Shetland Platform will also be presented to the industry audience. This event has a maximum of 50 participants (limited to 2 per company).
