Summary
The purpose of this consultation was to fulfil the requirement on the OGA to consult such persons as it considers appropriate prior to issuing guidance on the matters to which it will have regard when determining the amount of the financial penalty to be imposed by a financial penalty notice.
The OGA invited written views and comments on the proposed guidance to be made by 5pm on 3 November 2016.

On 20 March 2017, the OGA published its response to the consultation on the proposed financial penalty guidance.
