Influence by integration

  • Demonstrate the value of an integrated well management approach
  • Promote good practice in Reservoir and Wells Optimisation
  • Identify where issues are occurring in reservoir and well optimisation

KPIs (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Oriented)

  • Reduce the number of shut-in wells from 30% in 2017 to 10% in 2021
  • Increase surveillance rates from 8% in 2017 to 50% in 2021
  • Increase the intervention rate from 14% in 2017 to 30% in 2021

Scope

  • Raising the potential of existing fields and maximising production from existing reservoirs and well stock, in a cost effective and efficient manner
  • The scope is limited to primary field recovery, including artificial lift

Objectives

  • Demonstrate the value of an integrated approach towards maximising production
  • Identify, communicate and promote good practice in reservoir and wells optimisation through surveillance and interventions
  • Using an integrated approach, identify challenges and opportunities to maximising production

Deliverables

  • Cross industry optimisation workshop to further develop 2020+ activities.
  • Develop mechanisms to unlock opportunities to maximise production, e.g. benchmarking, case studies, lateral learning sessions
  • Share through workshops “what good looks like” in reservoir and wells optimisation, including surveillance
  • Deeper examination of the wells associated with the task force representatives and bring examples of the challenges
