Vacancy for an Area Manager - Southern North Sea (SNS) and East Irish Sea (EIS)
Grade 6 - £108,355 plus non-pensionable allowance of £13,303.
The Area Manager role for the Southern North Sea (SNS) and East Irish Sea (EIS) is a key leadership role within the Operations Directorate.
Leading a multi-disciplined technical and commercial team of six, the SNS/EIS Area Manager plays a key role in stewarding performance of operators and license holders covering areas such as resource progression, project delivery and performance, production optimisation and operating costs. This role also plays a vital part in developing with industry strategic plans for the region, to maximise resource and infrastructure value.
The OGA Area Manager will have line management responsibilities for multi-skilled teams of a mix of qualified oil and gas professionals (business manager, commercial, engineers and geoscientists).
The role will also work closely with other teams and members of the Operations Directorate and other Directorates within the OGA.
